The Greater Latrobe Wildcats finished their season at the Westmoreland County Middle School Championship held at Greensburg Central Catholic. On the girls end, the Cats took 4th in the team standings. Norwin won the meet with a total of 48 points. Emerson Skatell lit up the course, winning the event and also smashed her course record she set earlier in the week with a time of 11:37 for the 3K course. Also medaling for the girls was Kyleigh Krisfalusi who finished in 16th. The remaining finishers for the girls were Lauren Bonazza-Shaw in 33rd, Sarah Guinther in 35th, Abbie Kunkleman in 37th, Elise Long in 38th, Elizabeth Wilson in 44th, Kayla Keddie in 52nd, Harper Shirley in 54th, Maria Thunberg in 55th, and Kira Florek in 63rd.
On the boys end, the Cats finished in 5th. Norwin won the event with 40 points. Leading the way for the Cats with a medal was Liam Wilson who finished in 6th. Also claiming a medal was Steven Janke who finished in 13th. Other top finishers were Jackson Hayburn in 29th, Jack Gaffney was 40th, Daniel Sweeney was 41st, Quinn Matro was 43rd, and Aidan Urbanik was 45th.
